as a resource for sharing...
On line or on Cable… our mission is the same… to
offer support by connecting those who can give, those with resources, information or items to donate, with those
who want or need what is being offered, to share about natural ways of wellness and activities that enhance living
in a balanced, peaceful way…
The goals of
linking with local non-profits, volunteers and community organizations, of maintaining a calendar of community
events, available programs & activities, of providing a hub for the distribution of Good
News and current information, combine to create a comprehensive resource for finding, connecting & sharing with each other
as a way of meeting the needs of people and animals in local communities.
It is also our intention to support recycling and the greening of our homes, work places & community spaces.
We are writing grants and accept donations for the projects that support
our mission. Watch for our store, info on garden & personal mini-peace poles, an upcoming Peace Music CD (being created
with area children), rhythm circles and other programs designed to promote and sustain peace in all areas of our lives.
Donate it: At The Hub… If you have an item to donate, check out the
Hub Exchange listings (coming soon for Wareham area). You will be able to submit item info, description, condition
(must be clean & in good working order), location and contact info, etc. Listings published on our DONATIONS
PAGE and will expire in 30 days
Find it: At The Hub… Here you will
be able to search available listings by area for what you need… an item, service, activity…
and submit your inquiry & contact info for response. If you don't find what you need on our Donations page... then complete
our listing form with info about what you need. We will post your need on our MANIFEST YOUR NEEDS PAGE!
Meet us: At The Hub… Looking for a particular activity or service? At the Hub you
will find event, activity & project information. Check out our up coming events and calendar pages for
current events in your local area. Submit your own fund raising/non-profit/community service events to be included in
the calendar.
Volunteer: At The Hub… If you have time and talent
and would like to volunteer, teach or assist another to do so… you may post your info or search other listings at
the hub resource center to find the perfect match for what you have to share.
Hub pages will briefly list local Wareham area non-profits, community organizations and offer contact
info and/or links to non-commercial websites and/or email addresses.
