DRUMMING FOR PEACE

Become the Entertained  and the Entertainer

When participating in a drum circle, no one is looked at as more or less than any other, because within the circle, we are all part of the continuing flow.  We are, at the same time, both participator and observer, musician and audience.  The main objective in a Drum Circle is to get in touch with our inner selves and with each other and share our unique rhythm while having fun. Our circles especially would like to invite families to come and join us and experience rhythm together. When joining with community, we resonate together as a collective voice living in a state of PEACE…

The health and emotional benefits have been researched and we will be posting that information soon…

Thanks to Michelle at Music of the Bay, Cranberry Hwy., East Wareham, for her support and contributions to this season’s drumming/vibrational circles.  Hundreds of local children have joined together in circles drumming for peace. For more news from Music of the Bay go to  www.musicofthebay.com

Drumming is a bridge for Community

Participating in a drum circle we all become equals because a circle has no beginning and no end. Everyone in a circle is a vital part of the rythm, it does not matter who you are or what you do or have done in a rhythm circle you are an equal part of the rhythm.  The main objective in a Drum Circle is to get in touch with our inner selves and to join with each other and share our unique rhythms.  Then we all resonate as a collective voice,  as one living in a state of PEACE.  A  drum circle brings people together by using our uniqueness to create something that belongs to each and every one of us. It is a form of allowing self expression and a sense of belonging.

We are currently seeking sponsors to assist us to purchase  instruments needed to begin  a drumming for peace circle that families and people of all ages can attend. We have been invited to some events and intend to attend events in Plymouth counties to allow everyone to join in and drum for PEACE.

Community Drumming For PEACE

Community Drumming allows you to share a rhythmical and musical experience with your family, friends and community.

A drum circle brings people together by using our uniqueness to create something that belongs to each and every one of us. It is a form of allowing self expression and a sense of belonging. Just as the Earth has it’s own unique rhythm, so does each of our individual heart beats, and so is our drum beat that comes from within each one of us. Put together in a group, each individual rhythm and beat join together as one to play a song.
